COPA 149 Christmas Social
The Canadian Owners and Pilots Association (COPA) Flight 149 held its annual Christmas social gathering in Hangar #3 at the Niagara Central Dorothy Rungeling Airport on Thursday, December 18, 2025. At this time we remember those less fortunate and collect donations of non-perishable food items for one of the local food banks. This year the donations will be delivered to the Pelham food bank. Excellent pizza and wings were obtained from local parlour Pazzo's Pizza in Wainfleet, one of the four municipalities that operate the airport, along with Pelham, Port Colborne and Welland. Dessert items with Christmas themes were provided by members of COPA #149. A Christmas singalong followed the feast, led by COPA #149 member and pilot Cathy Boyko.
