2022-04 COPA 149 Refurbishing Picnic Tables at the NCDRA

By 2022, the picnic tables at the Niagara Central Dorothy Rungeling Airport had deteriorated to a disheveled and slipshod condition. In preparation for the coming summer events, such as the Interprovincial Air Tour, COPA 149 volunteered to refurbish all of the wooden surfaces of the tables if the Airport Commission would purchase the necessary materials. An agreement was reached, and COPA 149 looked after the acquisition of the needed materials. A large number of volunteers from COPA 149 brought their tools and expertise to assemble a formidable work party. The slide show below pictures some of the highlights of this restoration project.
